The short answer
Confirmed| Model | Input / 1M | Output / 1M | Price status |
|---|---|---|---|
| Gemini 3.7 Flash | $0.75 | $3.75 | Introductory, through Dec 31 |
| Gemini 3.6 Flash | $1.50 | $7.50 | Original launch rate |
Both sides of the 3.7 rate card are 50% below the original 3.6 Flash price. This is a time-limited list-price comparison, not a promise that your completed task will cost half as much.

What changed from Gemini 3.6 Flash?
- The rate card is exactly half. Input falls from $1.50 to $0.75, and output falls from $7.50 to $3.75 per 1M tokens.
- The coding gains are measurable, but benchmark-specific. Google reports 43.6% versus 34.4% on FrontierCode 1.1 Main and 65.3% versus 49.0% on DeepSWE v1.1. Those figures do not guarantee the same lift on your repository, so run an acceptance set before migrating.
- The model is positioned for agents and tool use. Google says 3.7 adapts better to roadblocks, clarifies intent, and applies more effort to multi-step plans and tool calls. Measure retries and accepted outputs; per-token price alone misses those costs.
The price expires; the next rate is unknown
Google says the introductory price is available through the end of 2026, but does not state what happens on January 1, 2027. Do not use $0.75 / $3.75 as an evergreen budget assumption. Recheck the official rate card before signing a 2027 commitment.
