Infinigen - A tool to create photorealistic infinite worlds with procedural generation
The Princeton Vision & Learning Lab has created Infinigen, an open-source procedural generator that produces top-tier 3D scenes in a range of forms. It's ideal for computer vision research as it creates life-like training data. Its strength lies in the use of randomized mathematical algorithms crafted to generate endless variants of elements, including shapes, materials, and details. The tool features a myriad of natural object and scene generators that prioritize precise geometry instead of superficial detail. Infinigen also aids in different computer vision tasks by providing automated annotations, and the lab promotes the community's participation and contribution to broaden the system's abilities.
