git-open

Opens your current git branch in the remote specified defaults to GitHub

Usage

[your_alias] [remote domain]

Example

git-open heroku.org

Opens the current branch in a remote called heroku. If you do not specify a domain, it defaults to github.com

Installation

  • Clone this repository
  • Create a symlink for the shellscript
  • Enjoy

The open command may not work on some linux distribution. Feel free to change it.
